Our Tap Room is open on Friday tap room post 2and Saturday from 3pm to 7 pm. We serve beers that we hand-craft here at our Boulder brewery. Our 7 taps rotate weekly, but we always carry 100% gluten-free beers and reduced-gluten beers.

Our Tap Room is where we showcase all the new beers and test all the new ingredients that we are evaluating. It is our research and development center, but more importantly it is a place where our fans can come and gather and celebrate.

We also host private parties and different gluten-free support groups.

Our Tap Room serves all the beers we brew on-site in our ½ Bbl system, which is the smallest system available in a commercial setting. So it’s fair to say that our beers are crafted in an artisan fashion. There is some science in brewing as you can imagine, but when you get down to a small system like ours, it is much more of an art.

100% gluten-free beers are brewed from gluten-free grains like sorghum or millet. Many beers are augmented with brown rice and honey. Also, we add spices and hops which are vine grown flowers that provide the bittering, flavor and aroma to the beers. All of our ingredients are natural and GMO free. Most of our beers are also vegan except for those that have honey. Just ask for the list of ingredients if you want to be sure.

We encourage drinking socially and responsibly so we will provide free root beer to your group’s designated driver. We offer complementary Snyder pretzels and also sell a few food options such as gluten-free pizza.

We brew all kinds of styles of beer so if you are coming over, we recommend you call ahead and ask what is on tap. Once you are here you are welcome to a free sample of any beers you are interested in. We are looking forward to seeing you.

Meet The Winner of the C.D.F. VIP Experience:

Congratulations to Michelle!

Michelle entered the Celiac Disease Foundation – Facebook contest to win two free VIP tickets to our National Conference & EXPO with airfare and accommodations provided by CDF Proud Sponsor New Planet Beer.  Michelle is our lucky winner, and we are delighted for her and her husband to attend the Expo,  June 7-8 in Pasadena, CA.

Michelle smiles as she is happy to feel better on the gluten-free diet!

Michelle’s passion for health and wellness, and staying on a strict gluten-free diet will be an inspiration for many.  Michelle shares her story about how she found out she had celiac disease:

I was a middle school teacher for five years, but I left in 2008 because I felt burnt out.  Unknown to me at the time, I had celiac disease,  though I left my job because I thought teaching was taking a heavy toll on my health.

In February of 2010, I was diagnosed with gluten intolerance.  The nurse practitioner that I was seeing at the time gave that diagnosis without testing me.  I struggled with the gluten-free diet.  I felt better almost immediately but found it difficult to not lapse on it.  In August of 2012, my endocrinologist had me tested for celiac disease.  We both thought the test would come back negative, instead it came back a very high positive for celiac disease.  At this revelation, I realized that even a little bit of cheating on a gluten-free diet for me was not okay. I got very serious about maintaining a gluten-free diet and my health has improved tremendously for it.  I write a blog called “My Road to Good Health” about my journey with autoimmune disease (both celiac disease and hypothyroidism) and exercising.

On June 6th, the weekend of the CDF event, my husband and I will celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary.  We currently have two black labs and a cat.  All our pets, past and present are rescued.   We enjoy bicycling and riding our motorcycles.  I also enjoy taking yoga classes, reading and photography.  I turned 50 years young on May 25th.

We are so excited for Michelle and her husband to attend the CDF National Conference and Gluten-Free EXPO!

Cheers!
